10 Amazing Belfast Student Rentals – From Budget Friendly To Luxury Finds

With uni starting back soon, now is the time to sort out your living arrangements for the next year.

By now you’ve probably decided who you want to shack up with, your budget and the general area you’d like to call home.

All that’s left to do is sign an agreement on the perfect home. So , if you’re one of the thousands of students who are browsing PropertyPal on a daily basis just waiting for the house or apartment that ticks all the boxes, here’s a bit of a helping hand.

We’ve compiled a list of great rental properties in Belfast that would easily satisfy the needs of students. We’ve gone for a selection of properties across a wide range of budgets, so there’s something for everyone.

1. 1 Malone Road Belfast – 4 bedrooms – £950 per month –  £237.50 per person

This detached home is set on the grounds of Methodist College in South Belfast, in a quiet leafy setting. It’s close to Queen’s University but as it’s not in the heart of the student area, this would probably be best suited to the likes of Masters or PhD students who have the majority of their partying days behind them and want somewhere a bit quieter to settle.

2. Belgravia Avenue, Lisburn Road, Belfast – 4 bedrooms – £950 per month – £237.50 per person

This four bedroom end terrace is positioned on a great spot on the Lisburn Road, close to shops, bars and restaurants and Queen’s Uni is just within walking distance.

3. 19 Sandhurst Gardens, Stranmillis Road, Belfast – 5 bedrooms – £1,200 per month – £240 per person

Located in the heart of Stranmillis, this 5 bedroom home would be perfect for a group of students who want to be in close proximity to uni, as well as the hotspots for student nights out.

4. 49 Surrey Street, Lisburn Road, Belfast – 3 bedrooms – £875 per month – £292 per person

This three bedroom mid terrace house is ideal for sharers. It’s deceptively spacious and is in pretty great condition.

5. 50 Ashleigh Manor, Windsor Avenue, Belfast – 3 bedrooms – £1275 per month – £425 per person

On the more expensive side, there’s this mid townhouse between the Malone and Lisburn road. It has a modern feel with a feature spiral staircase into the first floor lounge.

This fully refurbished apartment is close to the Lisburn Road and has Queen’s University nearby, so would be perfect for students.

7. Windsor Road, Belfast -2 bedrooms – £900 per month – £450 per person

If you’re looking for something a little bit slicker than your typical ‘student digs’ then this is the one. It has an architectural finish, a luxury kitchen, contemporary design details like exposed brick walls and of course, some pretty spacious bedrooms.

8. 10 Stranmillis Wharf, Lockview Road, Stranmillis, Belfast – 2 bedrooms – £1200 per month –  £600 per person

We’re getting into pretty expensive territory here but if you have the cash to spare and want something a bit more upmarket, this second floor river view apartment might satisfy your needs.

9. 15 Stratfield House, Wellington Park Terrace, Belfast – 2 bedrooms – £1,250 per month – £625 per person

This is another pretty swish option. Located in South Belfast, it’s just a few minutes from Queen’s University and is close to all the local amenities on the Lisburn Road.

10. 19 College Gardens, Belfast – 1 bedroom – £895 per month

This is obviously going to be out of most students’ budgets but if you’ve managed to save a ton of money, have very generous parents or a very well paid job on the side, then this is the dream apartment. It’s totally new to the rental market so has a fresh and new feeling. It’s down a tree lined street for peace and quiet and it’s one bedroom so you have all the privacy you could wish for.
