When it comes to moving house, everything will take a little bit longer than you think. If you can, avoid setting hard deadlines because things will be late no matter how organised you are or how far in advance you’ve been planning. When you’re stressed it’s human instinct to try and control situations but you need to make an effort to be flexible in your plans and your mindset to be able to overcome any unexpected obstacles.
Even with the mortgage and the legal stuff aside, moving house doesn’t come cheap, so ensure you have a budget in mind.
